This month has been very exciting, not least because we have been able to announce the formation of a long‑term partnership with the Content Marketing Association (CMA), the professional body representing publishing and content marketing agencies.  With strong links both in the UK and across the world it means that the Wavecast® will be showcased to a global audience.

We will be providing both social broadcasting technology and sales support to the CMA with the primary aim of helping them to increase member engagement.  This will enable the Association to unlock new revenue streams through the delivery of an extensive programme of social webcasts or, as they are becoming more widely known, Wavecasts®.

Our partnership debut will be at the International Content Marketing Summit 2012(www.ilovecontent.com) which is scheduled to take place at Old Billingsgate, London in November.  Participants will be able to attend the event in person, or view it when it is broadcast live on a pay-per-view basis.  This broadening of the potential audience for the event will also deliver additional contacs for the event’s sponsors, improving ROI on their investment in the Summit.

Julia Hutchinson, Chief Operating Office of the CMA is enthusiastic about the partnership.

Wavecast® Pro will transform this summit into a hybrid event, opening up a exciting new opportunities for us and we’re delighted to be working closely with such an innovative start-up. It is important for us to enable our members to embrace new technologies and implement effective digital strategies.  Plus the ability to create new revenue streams is of particular significance right now.”

This relationship with the CMA is extremely exciting and validates much of the work we have already been doing with companies operating in the publishing sector.  We have already delivered Wavecasts® for a number of niche B2B titles such as Railway Gazette as well as on a much larger scale for The Economist and Economist Education.
